A warm welcome to Maxida Märak at SUS Live – Stockholm’s highest live stage.

Maxida Märak has made a powerful and clear mark in the public space. With a unique blend of rap, choruses, electronic beats, and traditional joik, she has created a musical expression where Sápmi is always the norm.

Nearly ten years ago, Maxida decided to produce her own music. Already established in joik, she fully committed to the path after a protest song against the mining industry. She bought recording equipment, taught herself through YouTube — and the rest is history.

Since then, she has released two albums, several EPs, and toured in Sweden, Norway, Canada, and Greenland. She has performed at the Globe Arena, Allsång på Skansen, and appeared on Så mycket bättre and the drama series Midnattssol — in which she both played the lead role and composed the music.

Maxida’s music is often political, but it’s passion that drives her. On stage, she is bold, energetic, and always true to herself. She wants to inspire others to claim their space — regardless of background. Beyond music, she is a strong voice in society.

She has hosted Sommar i P1, presented the Grammis Awards, performed in the interval act at Melodifestivalen, and been a guest on Jill’s Veranda. Her art fosters understanding and drives change.

In 2024, the 22-year-old FILIPPA took big steps in the music scene. She spent the summer on the road with festival performances, and the fall kicked off with the highly anticipated singles “Lätt” and “Persienner”. In 2023, FILIPPA released several successful tracks like “En flaska till”, as well as “När festen tagit slut”, which made it onto Sweden’s Top 50 list on Spotify and has over 5.9 million streams. Her music is a unique blend of bluesy James Bond melodies and emotionally charged disco pop with a soulful touch, perfectly reflecting her inner pop diva – the ideal vibe for a summer evening under the stars.
